Good maintenance of your hearing-aids

We want you to be able to enjoy your new hearing aids for as long as possible. For this reason, we want to give you some tips for good maintenance of your hearing aids:

  • When not using your hearing aids, keep them only in their special case with the battery door open. Keep them away from young children and pets.
  • Keep your hearing aids away from water and moisture. Do not forget to take them out of your ears before taking a shower or washing your face. Also, ensure that your ear canals are well-dried before you put on your hearing aids.
  • If you suffer from extreme sweating, consider using a special electrical drying box while not using your hearing aids. The drying box dries the internal electronic components of your hearing aids, thus improving the performance of your hearing aids and extending their lifetime.
  • At the end of each day, thoroughly clean the part that goes into your ear canal with the brush you received. Even a tiny piece of earwax can seal the receiver, and you may hear too soft or not hear at all while using the hearing aids. • Keep your hearing aids away from extreme heat. Do not forget your hearing aids in your vehicle on a hot day.
