Insert & remove your hearing aid

How to insert the hearing aid:

1. Grasp the tube behind the dome and gently push the dome into your ear canal.
2. Place your hearing aid over the top of your ear.
3. The tube will probably bulge slightly near the ear canal. Point at the bend in the tube and push gently. The dome should slip further into the ear canal for proper placement. The tube should fit snugly against your ear.

Note: If pushing on the tube causes discomfort, STOP. Try to pull it just a little out from the ear canal, and if it does not help, ask for video support from a hearing care professional.

4. Place the retention lock into the bowl of your ear. The retention lock is the thin filament attached to the tube. Use your finger to secure the retention lock into the most comfortable position.

Note: Tube should not bulge away from the ear or pull the hearing aid down or the dome out of the ear. If this occurs, try a different length of the tube.

How to remove the hearing aid:
1. Grasp hold of the tube against your ear and gently pull. The dome will slip out of your ear.
2. Remove the hearing aid from behind of your ear.

Attention: Confirm the dome is attached to the tube each time you remove it from your ear. If the dome remains in your ear, seek medical assistance.
